2008-2009 Sub* 3 Kilo LandBoard Project
A challenge was set in 2007 to construct the lightest landboard in the world with state of the art
composite components. This would be a  fully functional freestyle landboard.
It is now undergoing extensive tests with the bonus of some very light spin-off components
(which are compatible with most skate type set-ups).

*Currently it weighs 3.3 Kilo but further weight savings can be made running the tyres tubeless.
Another spined solid carbon version was made subsequently, (see pic below)
They are both fitted with 12mm Carbon/Titanium skate trucks and LB17B has carbon one-piece hubs
The weight savings (on the trucks alone) are approx less than half that of conventional production parts

          LB17B with Ver 001 trucks

         Weights so far:
LB17B Integrated Carbon Deck and Footstraps: 1200 grams
Trucks plus Carbon Hubs, Polymer bearings, Tyres and Tubes 2100 grams a pair
Total Weight: 3300 grams,  but currently working on Tubeless (or Tubes made from TPU).
This will save another 320 grams for running tubeless or 264 with the TPU ones.
