Kitesurf Boards
Some details, pics & history of my previous home built projects below
I only make the odd kitesurf board out of interest, so none for sale.

History
In 2004 I had some surplus carbon prepreg and a friend asked if I
could make him an inexpensive carbon board for learning to kitesurf on.
The first board 146 x 45 was pretty simple and after a test at
Blackpool,
proved a very good light wind and beginner's board due to the large planing area.
I was asked to make a few more so I thought a web based diary might
help share these ideas, as I was learning how to improve on each design.
In 2005 I got hooked on board making full time ( as a hobby), due to a holiday
in Antigua and lessons
with Nik at Kite Antigua.
Over this period Dereck Camacho was board testing and the Autofocus DVD was being
filmed at a private spot on the other side of the island which got me interested
in wakestyle boards and thinking about the high breakage problem when
used on sliders.
However one of the main difficulties with full carbon kitesurf boards is that they
can
become too stiff if not designed well.
